The Australian Government released a new Migration Strategy on 11 December 2023.
It comprises a policy roadmap containing 8 key actions and over 25 new policy commitments and areas for future reform. The Migration Strategy is informed by extensive consultation with business, unions and other stakeholders, and more than 450 submissions received as part of the Review of the Migration System.
