Network Convenors represent professionals across each of the IEAA Networks and are responsible for setting the agenda for network focussed events, research and insights and identifying relevant topics and speakers for the Australian International Education Conference (AIEC).
Kate Pretty
Kate Pretty, based in Adelaide, is the Director, Admissions and Enrolment for Kaplan International Pathways (Australia & New Zealand) responsible for managing the admissions and enrolment functions for Kaplan’s pathway colleges, The University of Adelaide College, The University of Newcastle College of International Education, Murdoch College and Massey University College (NZ), determining strategies, providing leadership, contributing to the development of policies and procedure and ensuring compliance with legislation and regulatory bodies.
Kate has worked in international education since 2002 in the areas of marketing and recruitment, admissions management, agent management and student mobility. Kate has over 20 years' experience in tertiary administration at a range of institutions.
Anna Kirkham
Anna Kirkham has worked in various managerial positions in international education sector in the last 20 years. She has broad experience in managing international student support services, international compliance, quality assurance, scholarships and has a deep knowledge of the legislative environment of international education.
Currently, Anna is International Development and Sponsorships Manager at the University of Sydney.
Amali Weeratunga
Amali Weeratunga has over 23 years of experience in admissions, orientation, enrolments, fees, scholarships, exams, academic progress, compliance and partnerships in Australia and four years of orientation, admissions and enrolments experience in the USA. Currently, Amali works at Monash College as the Manager of Student Administration and is an IEAA Associate Fellow.
