Angelin Achari

School Services Advisor (International Education) 

Independent Schools Queensland 

Angelin has a wealth of experience in both private and public sectors in Australia and New Zealand working in the Education, Health, and Housing sectors which have afforded her the skills and knowledge in government policy and strategy, organisational development, operational management, human resources, risk, and compliance. As the School Services Advisor at Independent Schools Queensland (ISQ), she specialises in international education, school business operations, risk, and regulatory compliance. Her role also includes advocating for independent schools at sector, industry, and ministerial levels; supporting member schools in their international education programs, goals, and strategies; conducting operational reviews; providing regulatory advice to school leaders and key school staff; and delivering professional development in international education, school operations, risk, and compliance. She holds degrees in Commercial Law, Economics, and Industrial Relations, as well as Postgraduate Diplomas in Government Policy, Human Resource Management, and Social Housing Management, and a Master of Management.

Hon Phil Honeywood, IEAA-SF

Chief Executive Officer 

International Education Association of Australia 

Phil has been IEAA's Chief Executive Officer since November 2011. Previously, he was a Member of the Victorian State Parliament (1988–2006), Minister for Tertiary Education, Training and Multicultural Affairs (1996–1999) and Deputy Leader of the Opposition (2002–2006). Since retiring from politics, Phil worked at Stott’s Business College and Cambridge International College. Phil is the Chairman of the Roundtable of International Education Peak Body CEOs and a member of the Tuition Protection Service Board. Phil is also a Board member of the Bennelong Philanthropic Foundation and the Bangarra Group Board.

Georgia Hooper

Senior Engagement Coordinator 

University of the Sunshine Coast (UniSC) 

Over the past years, Georgia has been employed in several roles related to research, tourism and international education. Georgia now works within the schools sector at the University of Sunshine Coast Office of Marketing and Communications as Senior Engagement Coordinator, School Leavers. Georgia oversees the school leaver engagement activities, recruitment initiatives and facilitates meaningful activities to promote educational opportunities to school leavers. Her role sees her collaborating with diverse stakeholders to advocate for equitable access to education and knowledge.

Anjulee Singh

Education Services Deputy Director 

Independent Schools Queensland 

Anjulee Singh was appointed to the role of Education Services Deputy Director in 2023. She began her career as a secondary teacher of Humanities in a range of government and independent schools across Queensland, New South Wales, and the United Kingdom. She has worked for the Queensland Family and Child Commission and the Department of Education in their evaluation portfolio. Since joining ISQ in 2020, she has worked in the areas of governance, school strategic planning, and compliance, and within education services leading the development of a range of professional learning for educators and school leaders including executive reviews. Since 2021, Anjulee has overseen the Teacher Quality team including Highly Accomplished and Lead Teacher certification, workforce planning, and oversees the development of targeted professional learning for teachers and school leaders across all career stages with the long-term goal of attracting and retaining excellent teachers in education. Anjulee sits on the Queensland College of Teachers’ Professional Standards Committee and is on the Education Advisory Committee for the Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies.
