About the Authors
Peter Burgess
Peter Burgess is Executive Director of EdBiz Pty. Ltd., an Australian
international education consultancy that specialises in change
management as it applies to transnational education, transfer pathways
and quality assurance. Peter’s career has spanned academic, industry,
government and corporate roles, in Australia, the UK and Asia, including
with AusAID, World Bank and the Asian Development Bank (ADB),
government agencies, education institutions representing all sectors,
and professional associations. As past President of Australia’s TNE
University Forum and inaugural convenor of the IEAA TNE Special Interest
Group he has published widely on TNE and international education.
Christopher Ziguras
Christopher Ziguras is Associate Dean, Global and Language Studies at
RMIT's School of Global, Urban and Social Studies. His research deals
with many aspects of the globalisation of education, particularly the
ways governments and institutions manage and regulate cross-border
provision. He was President of IEAA from 2015–8 and is on the Academic
Board at the Centre for Higher Education Internationalisation at
Università Cattolica Del Sacro Cuore in Milan.
