Uniting the sector

IEAA has been an incredibly important association for the international education community in Australia and has made an extraordinary difference across the past 20 years.

From invaluable government advocacy to the coordination of professional networks and the delivery of a range of really high quality professional development activities, it has helped to unite the sector. My favourite events are the Network Forums which bring together professionals and stakeholders at all levels and with varied experience in a setting that facilitates deep sharing and networking; it is impossible to leave one without having learnt something and without developing a new professional relationship! The IEAA fellowship has provided international education professionals with recognition and evidence of their commitment and contribution, while the Young Professionals Network helps develop and inspire our next generation of leaders.

Since it was established, the IEAA has continued to evolve and innovate and, as a proud member, I can’t wait to see what’s next.
