The Learning Abroad Fair Circuit is a collaborative initiative between Australian universities to encourage more students to study overseas on learning abroad programs
It began in 2004 and aims to leverage off already established institution-based learning abroad fairs. Collaborating on a national level – and coordinating the timing of individual fairs – greatly enhances the value proposition for international partner institutions travelling to Australia. International partners attend different sections of the circuit each year, or participate in the whole circuit on alternate years.
The Learning Abroad Fair Circuit is now a firmly established part of the annual student mobility calendar in Australia.
Aims
The Learning Abroad Fair Circuit aims to:
- Promote outbound educational programs to Australian students and increase the level of student participation
- Encourage as many international partners to come to Australia and promote their institution as a learning abroad destination
- Encourage other interested stakeholders to promote themselves, such as the Australian government promoting the OS-HELP loans scheme
- Increase the visibility and exposure of outbound mobility programs across Australia.
